Basis ICO âreceives InWaraâs Data transparency certificate
Basis, inspite of raising a whopping $133 million in funding and being backed by prominent crypto VCs, was awarded a Data Transparency Grading of âCAâ by InWara. The firm has shut down operations and returned a fraction of funds to its investors.
From this rather dismal grading, it can be drawn that companies that have a weak DTG score are probably withholding valuable information from investors, which could be quintessential in determining the companyâs future success and a such a grading could likely lead to regulatory issues down the road.
